Enquiry FAQ Step 1 - Gather Information

Take note of CAS numbers of any contaminants. This data will be needed to analyze the contaminant.

The concentration of a contaminant is another factor used in analysis .

Step 2 – Analyse the information:

  • Use the Respiratory Selection Guide or The Quick Reference Guide.
  • Enter the chemical name, chemical properties or the CAS number into the search engine.
  • If multiple chemicals are used then you need to search each one,
  • Always base your recommendation based on the worst case scenario,
  • If you do not have a CAS number check the internet but always cross reference your search
  • Once the recommendation appears enter the PPM (Parts Per Million) if known.
  • f your search does not render a recommendation search the internet or ask for assistance.
